Bloggingheads.tv - Science Saturday: Darwinian Dancing: "Is cancer largely a side-effect of advanced civilization?" No. Anthropologists have found cancer in the bones of ancient peoples too. The thing is over 90 percent of cancer happens in people over age 55. In those days most people died before that. But even so, all the carcinogenic shit we have in our environment today sure doesn't help.
