California city so corrupt the only way to fix it is to abolish it. That's what the LA county prosecutor's office is saying. The city of Vernon, California isn't really a city at all, prosecutors say, but is in actuality an on-going criminal enterprise which needs to be abolished. Hmm...I'll be interested to see how that legal theory pans out as we here in Michigan could likely make the same claim about the systematic corruption and malfeasance found in Detroit, Flint, Highland Park and a few other places that seem chronically resistant to reform of any sort.
