Ethnic cleansing comes to NYC - iSteve blog (Steve Sailer)

"The NYT has maps showing demographic winners and losers in New York City between the 2000 and 2010 Censuses. By far, the biggest losers are American-born blacks, whose numbers are growing only on the remote peripheries of the city.
With crime in New York City way, way down as African-Americans are economically cleansed, American-born whites are resurgent across much of the more desirable central part of the city, especially recolonizing some convenient neighborhoods in northern Manhattan and northern Brooklyn."

Ann Arbor went through a similar purge of low income blacks in the 70's and 80's. Unable to find much in the way of privately owned affordable housing and the city only providing very limited amounts of subsidized low income housing the African-Americans gradually left Ann Arbor for Ypsilanti and Pittsfield Township. There are still enclaves on Ann Arbor's north side and toward the southeast (Scarlett middle school neighborhood) but they will probably be gone once property values again start to increase making the townhouses and apartment buildings in those enclaves prime targets for getting plowed under to make room for bigger and better things courtesy of profit-minded developers. Ethnic cleansing by economic means.

The Constitution is  outdated words from the past; And the  rightwingers are trying to steal it from us! - The Nation (Garrett Epps)
I started reading The Nation when I was in high school back in the 1970's. Back then it was an independent voice of the center left in America. Now it has become a shrill hate fest for the progs to engage in masochistic,  anti-white, anti-America and anti-whatever the rage filled progs are mad about at any given time. And which is why I let my subscription lapse around '07 too. These days the Nation is just another tentacle of the Democratic Party apparatus and should be viewed as such. The on-line comment section on this cover story article  reminds of  some passive-aggressive humor attributed to to two old codgers I heard once; One who bitched that a new restaurant had lousy food and then the other said that the portions were too small as well. How to reconcile that? The same reaction goes for Epps' theory of constitution stealing as well to  if you read  the Nationoid's comments.
