Business Insider: "Detroit dominates as the auto industry roars back to life"

"Detroit Industry" by Diego Rivera 1933
This is good news if it's true. [Link] It's hard for me to get too jazzed about the American automobile companies any more given that during their 2009 bail-out GM killed off its most exiting brands and Chrysler became subsidiary of the Italian-based Fiat.

Former auto-bailout czar Steven Rattner's new book shows government sausage making at its best & worst. The Huffington Post has an exclusive peak at the soon to be released book. I don't know if will be as juicy as the teasers indicate (i.e., Rahm Emmanuel:" Fuck the UAW! Obama:"We're gonna pay Rich Wagner how much?") Rattner may have been an odd choice for a bail-out czar but he seems to be a pretty good writer.
